FERTAN Tank Cleaner is the crucial first step for a successful tank restoration. Before a tank can be derusted (e.g., with Fedox) or sealed (e.g., with Tapox), all oily and greasy residues as well as resinified fuel deposits must be completely removed.
This product was specially developed to emulsify and rinse out these stubborn contaminants. It creates a chemically clean, grease-free surface, which is absolutely necessary for subsequent acids or coatings to adhere and work optimally. Due to its high concentration, the product is very economical.

Application Note
Depending on the degree of contamination, the concentrate is diluted 1:5 to 1:10 with warm water. Fill the mixture into the tank and shake well or let it soak (preferably for several hours, rotating the tank occasionally). Then rinse the tank very thoroughly with clear water until no more foam emerges.
