FERTAN PREWAX Pre-treatment Wax – 500ml Spray

Extremely creeping special wax for the pre-treatment of folds, sheet metal overlaps, and weld seams. Penetrates deeply and prepares the substrate for the final sealing.

PREWAX is a specially developed "pre-wax" with extremely low viscosity. Its purpose is to penetrate deeply into areas that thicker final coatings cannot reach: hairline cracks, spot welds, and tight sheet metal folds. It ensures that even the "gap within a gap" is permanently protected from moisture.

It is ideally used after a component has been derusted with FERTAN, but *before* the thick final layer (e.g., UBS 240 underbody protection or cavity protection wax) is applied. PREWAX thus acts as a deeply effective primer in the wax system. Also suitable as a temporary protective film on external surfaces.

• 1 × Spray probe (Ø 4 mm) for targeted application

Application Note

For folds and overlaps, spray directly into the gap from a short distance. For cavities, use the enclosed probe and slowly pull it through.
Important: Due to its extreme creeping ability, excess material may escape from cracks – cover the floor! Excess material can be easily removed with petrol. After flashing off, the final coating (cavity wax/UBS) can be applied.
