FeDOX is a specially developed product for chemical derusting. Unlike rust converters, which form a protective layer, FeDOX completely dissolves corrosion and leaves the steel part absolutely bare ("metallically clean"). This is particularly important when restoring tank interiors or precise machine parts.
The product contains special wetting agents and biodegradable substances in an aqueous solution. It is applied as a dipping bath. By heating the bath (approx. 55–60°C), even heavy rust can be removed in a very short time. The solution is reusable multiple times.

- 1 × FERTAN FeDOX Rust Remover Concentrate (quantity and container type according to selection)
Processing Instructions
Mixing ratio: FeDOX is prepared as an approx. 10% solution with water (e.g., 1 liter FeDOX + 9 liters water).
Application: Warm water (approx. 60°C) significantly speeds up the process. Immerse the component or fill the tank and let it react for approx. 12 hours. Afterwards, collect the liquid for reuse and rinse the component very thoroughly with clear water.
Tip: To immediately prevent new flash rust, we recommend post-treatment with FERTAN Rust Converter before final coating.
