FeDOX is a specially developed product for chemical derusting. In contrast to rust converters, which form a protective layer, FeDOX completely dissolves corrosion, leaving the steel part absolutely bare ("metallically clean"). This is particularly important when restoring internal tank surfaces or precise machine parts.

The product contains special wetting agents and biodegradable substances in an aqueous solution. It is used as a dip bath. By heating the bath (approx. 55–60°C), even heavy rust can be dissolved in a very short time. The solution is reusable multiple times.

Processing Instructions

Mixing ratio: FeDOX is prepared as an approx. 10% solution with water (e.g., 1 liter FeDOX + 9 liters water).
Application: Warm water (approx. 60°C) significantly accelerates the process. Immerse the component or fill the tank and let it react for approx. 12 hours. Then collect the liquid for reuse and rinse the component very thoroughly with clear water.
Tip: To immediately prevent new flash rust, we recommend post-treatment with FERTAN rust converter before the final coating.
