IMS Single Row Bearing Direct Oil Feed (DOF) Intermediate Shaft Retrofit Kit for Boxster 986 / 996

Retrofit kit for the intermediate shaft bearing (IMS) with single-row steel bearing and patented direct oil feed (DOF). Before ordering, it must be checked which bearing size is installed in the engine: Up to model year 1999, a double-row bearing was used, from model year 2000, a single-row bearing. This kit contains the single-row bearing. Manufacturer: Tune RS.

Scope of delivery

• DOF flange with zinc coating (patented)
• IMS bearing, single-row
• 3 micro-encapsulated Porsche screws
• Spacer for the bearing
• Oil connection adapter with crimp ring
• Cam plug
• Hydraulic hose, 3,000 psi

Suitable for

• Porsche Boxster 986 2.7 / 3.2 S (model year 2000–2004)
• Porsche 996 Carrera C2 / C4 / C4S 3.4 and 3.6 (model year 2000–2005)

Not for 996 Turbo, GT2 and GT3 (Mezger engine without intermediate shaft bearing).
