IMS Double Row Bearing Direct Oil Feed (DOF) Intermediate Shaft Retrofit Kit for Boxster 986 / 996

Retrofit kit for the intermediate shaft bearing (IMS) with a double-row steel bearing and patented direct oil feed (DOF). Before ordering, it must be checked which bearing size is installed in the engine: A double-row bearing was used up to model year 1999, and a single-row bearing from model year 2000 onwards. This kit contains the double-row bearing. Manufacturer: Tune RS.

• DOF flange with zinc coating (patented)
• IMS double-row bearing
• 3 micro-encapsulated Porsche screws
• Bearing spacer
• Oil connection adapter with ferrule
• Cam plug
• Hydraulic hose, 3,000 psi

Suitable for

• Porsche Boxster 986 2.5 / 2.7 / 3.2 S (model year 1997–1999)
• Porsche 996 Carrera C2 / C4 3.4 (model year 1997–1999)

Not for 996 Turbo, GT2 and GT3 (Mezger engine without intermediate shaft bearing).
