LIQUI MOLY Pro-Line Throt­tle Valve Cleaner

Special high-performance cleaner for the fast and effective removal of typical deposits and contaminants in the intake and throttle valve area. Reliably dissolves oil, resins, adhesives, and other impurities. Ensures the functionality of moving parts, improves response, and increases the operational reliability of gasoline engines.

Application:
For cleaning the intake and throttle valve area including nozzles and bores – only suitable for gasoline engines. Create direct access to the throttle valve. Start the engine and spray the cleaner using the spray probe in short intervals (2–3 sec.) at a minimum of 2,000 rpm over the entire throttle valve area. In case of heavy contamination, the application can be repeated with a second can. After completion, let the engine run for approx. 20 sec. at a minimum of 2,000 rpm to burn off residues.

Dosage:
One can is sufficient for one cleaning; use a second can for stubborn deposits.

Application Interval:
As needed or as part of maintenance or service work to ensure optimal air supply and engine performance.

Note:
Avoid contact with air mass sensors and painted parts. In case of starting or idling problems during cleaning, disconnect the air mass sensor plug (with ignition switched off) and then clear or relearn the fault using a diagnostic device.
