Balance Shaft Delete Kit. To remove the entire balance shaft belt and all by-products on the 944/968, this is the only way to make the engine run smoother than it used to (the shafts used to be). So the engine still runs without all the balance shaft belts and accessories, perhaps a little rougher, but it saves some engine power as you don't have to drive all that stuff, and it reduces engine weight. (Crankshaft/camshaft timing is done on a separate timing belt on the 944/968). Replacement Porsche part number. Porsche part number 94410292300.
