From 1993 to 1998 the Porsche 993 was the last air-cooled 911 – with a new multi-link rear axle, from 1995 with Varioram induction, and in the Turbo version the first with twin-turbocharging. The secondary air system, valve guides and hydraulic lifters are among the well-known maintenance topics.
