Turbocharger Sport 997 Turbo K-04/K-26 Variable Geometry Turbochargers (VTG) are designed to allow the turbo's effective A/R ratio to be changed as conditions change. This is done because the optimal A/R at low engine speeds is very different from the optimum at high engine speeds. By changing the geometry of the turbine housing as the engine accelerates, the turbo's A/R ratio can be kept at its optimum. Manufacturer: Koblenz.
