Wheel Hub and Wheel Bolt Cleaning Set | Textar

Cleaning set for corroded wheel bolts and the adjacent hub surfaces. It removes dirt and corrosion and prepares the contact surfaces so that the tightening torque actually reaches the wheel. On a rusty hub, part of the torque is lost to friction, and the wheel then sits too loose despite a correctly set torque wrench.

The set is driven by a drill or a pneumatic impact wrench.

Scope of delivery

• 1 × bolt cleaner body including hook-and-loop pad
• 2 × replacement hook-and-loop pad
• 5 × cleaning disc, fine
• 5 × cleaning disc, coarse

Fits

Workshop equipment not tied to a specific model. Can be used on all Porsche models with bolted wheels, from the 911 F-Model through the G-Model, 964 and 993 to the transaxle models 924, 944 and 968.
