The strut mount secures the strut to the chassis and supports the coil spring, while an integrated bushing absorbs shocks from the strut piston. Below the strut mount is the strut bearing, which allows the strut to move smoothly with the steering knuckle when the wheels turn. When the bushing of the strut mount wears out, it often causes rattling noises over bumps and reduces damping, leading to a bumpy ride. Quality: OEM / Original Equipment Manufacturer quality.
