Muffler. Porsche 996 3.6L 2002-05 (Porsche Original)

Porsche Original Part. Exhaust Muffler. Designed for Porsche 911 Carrera/Carrera 4 models (model year – ), these mufflers offer a perfect fit replacement, correct suspension, factory tailpipe alignment, and authentic acoustic performance. What this product does: The muffler (rear muffler/silencer) is the last major component of the exhaust system: it reduces noise, completes the exhaust flow path, and ensures that exhaust gases are safely discharged from under the rear of the vehicle. It helps maintain proper back pressure, supports exhaust suspension and alignment, and plays a role in sound tuning (ensuring the vehicle meets acoustic factory specifications). Correct installation ensures that tailpipes, suspensions, connections, and appearance comply with factory standards – which is particularly important for the OEM model's look, sound, and performance.
