Distributor rotor arm by Bosch for Porsche 924S, 928 S2 and 944 / 944 Turbo with 8V engine.

The rotor sits on top of the distributor shaft, which is driven by a gear on the camshaft. The ignition voltage reaches the rotor via the carbon brush in the distributor cap and, as the rotor turns, is passed on to the terminals of each spark plug in turn.
