- Pipe stub / connector for heater flaps
- Suitable for: Porsche 911 G-Model (2.7L – 3.3L)
- Model years: 08/1973 to 07/1986
- Reference: Diagram Position No. 20
- Important note for vehicles with automatic heating (see below)
This pipe stub is an essential component of the heating control system on the underside of the Porsche 911. It serves as an outlet/connection on the heater flap box and directs the warm air further. Due to thermal stress and its position under the vehicle, these stubs are often heavily corroded and must be replaced during an overhaul of the heater flaps.
Important installation note (automatic heating): This item is supplied in its standard (closed) condition. If your vehicle is equipped with the optional fully automatic heating control (Auto-Heat), the original part has a temperature sensor at this component.
For use with the Heatingtronic/Automatic system, you must drill an 8 mm hole at the appropriate location to mount the sensor. Please also note: The connector/housing for the sensor is not included in the scope of delivery and may need to be taken from the old part.
