Racing Oil Pan – Ultimate protection against oil starvation for track and fast road use. The racing oil sump is a performance upgrade designed to address one of the most common and serious issues of the Porsche M96 and M97 engines – oil starvation. Even a brief loss of oil pressure can lead to: Bearing wear, scored crankshaft journals, engine overheating, catastrophic engine failure. The Racing Sump is designed to control oil movement within the oil pan and keep the oil pump submerged even under extreme driving conditions. Porsche Part Number: 99610703155.
