Description

The M22 × 1.5 hex nut for the wheel hub securely fixes the wheel hub to the axle shaft and is an essential component of the wheel and bearing assembly. Due to the high forces generated during driving, braking, and acceleration, this nut should be replaced, especially after wheel bearing work or disassembly.

Depending on the Porsche model, the nut is installed on the front or rear axle and ensures the necessary preload as well as a secure, play-free fit of the wheel hub. The component's position is indicated in the parts diagram under diagram no. 6 .
