This is the Tiptronic transmission oil pan (sometimes also called "gearbox oil pan"), which holds the transmission fluid and forms the seal between the transmission housing and the oil reservoir. It is made of standard steel and meets OEM specifications in terms of fit and finish. It features a rust-resistant surface coating and is designed warp-free to ensure a durable and secure seal.
