Oil Line Conversion Kit for Exhaust Conversion – Porsche 911 SC 3.0 & 3.2L (1978 – 89)
Oil Line Conversion Kit for Exhaust Conversion – Porsche 911 SC / 911 3.2L (1978–89)
Oil line kit for conversion to Supersprint or similar header systems. Allows for correct routing of the oil return on Porsche 911 SC and 911 3.2L models.
- Essential kit for Supersprint/SSI exhaust conversions
- Correct oil return routing for 3.0L SC and 3.2L Carrera
- Backdating of the oil line for sufficient clearance
- Available for vehicles with and without front oil cooler
- Replaces the collision-prone series line from approx. 1975 onwards
This oil line kit is required for installing a Supersprint header or similar SSI systems on the Porsche 911 SC and Porsche 911 3.2L. Due to the modified header design, the standard oil line on later G-models collides with the new exhaust routing, making a "backdating" of the line absolutely necessary.
The conversion routes the oil return analogously to early 911 models (F-model / early G-model), thus creating the necessary clearance for the optimized exhaust routing. Without this adjustment, the installation of a complete Supersprint kit is technically not possible.
Depending on the vehicle's equipment (with or without front oil cooler), different line variants are used, which connect the engine either to the thermostat or directly to the oil tank.
