Prevent oil leaks after overhaul! When pushing O-rings onto the tie rods (through bolts), they are often damaged by the sharp thread. This tool (SR024) solves the problem.
Based on the factory tool P9511, but improved:
- Brass cap: Covers the thread and protects the O-ring.
- Stainless steel sleeve: Serves as a slider to guide the O-ring safely over the cap onto the shaft.
- Secure placement: The back of the sleeve is used to press the O-ring into the housing groove (especially for 3.6L engines).
