Castle nut for attaching the ball joint to the front lower control arm, as a set of 2 – 2 pieces required for a complete front axle. Manufactured to the exact dimensions and thread specifications of the original part. Milled groove for correct engagement with retaining ring or bolt. Replace when: ball joints or control arms are replaced, the thread is damaged or corroded, or a front axle overhaul or alignment is performed.
