Description
Sound insulation mat for the engine bay of the Porsche 911 and 912 (1965–1989) in OEM quality. It is mounted in the engine bay, often on the bulkhead or the underside of the engine lid, dampens engine noise and reduces radiant heat on adjacent components.
Over time these mats can sag or crack, leading to more engine noise in the cabin and reduced heat protection.
