The original air intake grille on the engine lid is one of the most heavily stressed exterior parts on the Porsche 911. Due to the direct heat from the air-cooled engine below and UV radiation from above, the plastic becomes brittle, fades, or distorts unattractively over the years.

This new grille restores the clean appearance of the vehicle's rear. It is ideal for restorations to give the vehicle that "fresh-from-the-factory" look. Furthermore, this grille is technically necessary if you want to install the Ducktail Spoiler (SKU 44850), as it is supplied without a grille and is designed to accommodate this classic grille.
