Description
This high-quality fan from BergvillFX is a direct replacement for the climate control unit (CCU) in Porsche 964 and 993 models. It addresses the common problem of age-related failure of the original fan, which manifests as a noticeable whirring or humming sound behind the dashboard and leads to faulty temperature control in the interior. A functioning fan is essential for precise cabin temperature control, as a failure can lead to a gradual drop in temperature while driving. This fan replaces Porsche part numbers 96465914800 or 96465914802. You will need a set of CCU removal tools to replace the fan. Please note that due to the significantly lower power consumption of this fan, the climate control unit may display an OBD cabin interior sensor fan error code. This error code can be ignored and does not affect the operation of the unit or the fan.
