Bearing clearance gauge kit, 100 Plastigauge strips per box. PLASTIGAUGE PL-A is widely used for measuring clearance in automotive plain bearings. Measuring connecting rod bearing clearance can be done without disassembling the crankshaft. For measurements from: 0.001″ to 0.007″ (0.025 mm – 0.175 mm). Suitable for use at temperatures between 0°C and 35°C. Contents: 100 gauges (10 cm long each), measurement cards (mm & inches), instructions. We strongly recommend the use of silicone and mineral greases.
