Porsche Genuine Part. Clutch Master Cylinder. A clutch that engages/disengages via hydraulic fluid instead of a cable uses a clutch master cylinder and a clutch slave cylinder. When the clutch pedal is depressed, a lever is pressed, which forces hydraulic fluid through hydraulic lines to a "slave cylinder" containing a piston.
