Description

The Bosch knock sensor measures vibrations and noises in the engine block to detect harmful knocking (detonation) at an early stage. The engine control unit can then automatically adjust the ignition timing, which increases efficiency and prevents engine damage.

An aged or faulty knock sensor can lead to power loss, misfires, warning messages, or increased fuel consumption. This sensor is a direct replacement for the original sensor and restores the full functionality of the knock control system in the Porsche 964.
