Description

This license plate light is designed for various Porsche models from the 928, 968, 964, 993, 996, and 986 series, ensuring the legally compliant illumination of the rear license plate. Especially in older vehicles, the original lights often suffer from dullness, cracks, or corroded contacts – light output decreases and the appearance becomes uneven.

This replacement light subtly but effectively refreshes the rear area. The design is matched to the respective model mounts and ensures clean integration into the bumper or tailgate. In conjunction with intact sealing surfaces, the area remains permanently protected against moisture.

Note

We recommend cleaning the contacts during installation and, if necessary, protecting them with some contact spray. Also, check the seal and the contact surface to ensure that no moisture can penetrate the light or the tailgate area.
