Ultra-Fine Electrode By utilising Iridium Power, DENSO is suddenly able to reduce the surface area of the center electrode - the critical component of a spark plug. Unlike a typical platinum plug with an 1.1mm diameter center electrode, DENSO Iridium Power spark plugs have the world's smallest center electrode with a diameter of 0.4mm. This means that voltage requirements decrease and ignition performance is significantly improved.
