Pulse / Speed Reference Sensor. Porsche 964 / 993 / 996T

This part has been updated by Porsche, and you may need an adapter kit for the connector. The crankshaft position sensor, also known as a pulse generator, continuously monitors the speed and position of the crankshaft. This information is sent as a signal to the engine control unit (ECU), which uses it to control important functions such as ignition timing, injection timing, and engine speed.
