Description

The connection between Porsche drivers and FUCHS wheels® dates back to the 1960s, when Porsche models were equipped with 15- and 16-inch versions of this extremely lightweight yet robust wheel. Then as now, there is only one true Porsche wheel: the FUCHS wheel®.

The current version revives the original, timeless design and reflects today's trend towards larger, wheel-arch-filling formats – while maintaining low weight and high stability. State-of-the-art development, simulation, testing, and production techniques have resulted in a new generation of FUCHS wheels® that combines exclusivity, strength, optimal brake cooling, and low unsprung weight.

A forged FUCHS® wheel has approximately 3 kg less unsprung weight compared to an average cast wheel. Racing teams equate 1 kg of unsprung weight with about 6 kg of total vehicle weight – an advantage that improves comfort and performance.

In addition, OTTO FUCHS KG also develops and supplies original wheels for, among others, Porsche 997 Turbo, Audi R8, BMW M3, AC/Schnitzer and AMG/Mercedes.
