Description

The connection between Porsche drivers and FUCHS wheels® dates back to the 1960s, when Porsche models were equipped with 15- and 16-inch wheels. With this 17-inch version, OTTO FUCHS continues the tradition and reinterprets it in a contemporary way. Larger dimensions to accommodate the wheel arches of modern sports cars, yet still retaining the original design lines and the technical sophistication of forged wheels.

A forged FUCHS wheel® saves around 3 kg of unsprung weight compared to an average cast wheel. Racing teams calculate that 1 kg less unsprung mass equates to approximately 6 kg less overall vehicle weight – a clear advantage in comfort and performance. Furthermore, OTTO FUCHS also manufactures original wheels for, among others, the Porsche 997 Turbo, Audi R8, BMW M3, AC/Schnitzer, and AMG/Mercedes.
