Replacement Pipes for Right-Hand Drive Steering Gear Porsche 986 / 996

Replacement pipes (steel) for RHD steering gears (pair) ONLY for right-hand drive vehicles! The two replacement pipes are mounted to the rack and pinion and usually wear out. The rack and pinion of a power-assisted vehicle requires a hydraulic circuit: a pressure line (high pressure) from the power steering pump (or pump + reservoir assembly) to the rack and pinion, and a return line (low pressure) from the rack and pinion back to the reservoir (or to the return side of the pump).

Note: For right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles.
