Replacement pipes for LHD steering gear Porsche 986 / 996

Replacement pipes (steel) for left-hand drive rack (pair) ONLY for left-hand drive vehicles! The two replacement pipes are mounted on the rack and normally wear out. The rack of a power-assisted vehicle requires a hydraulic circuit: a pressure line (high pressure) from the power steering pump (or pump + reservoir assembly) to the rack, and a return line (low pressure) from the rack back to the reservoir (or to the return side of the pump).

Note: For left-hand drive vehicles (LHD) only.
