This sealing ring is located on the heater blower motor and ensures an airtight connection of the blower unit to the air duct system. In air-cooled Porsche models, an airtight air duct is crucial so that the air heated by the engine actually reaches the interior and the windshield.

In most classic models, the original foam ring has disintegrated or become porous over the decades. This leads to pressure loss and reduced heating performance, as well as poor defrosting. This replacement ring restores the original seal and is an indispensable small part for the maintenance or restoration of the heating system.
