Ceramic Rims Cr0.01 is a ceramic coating that provides long-lasting protection for painted rims. The protective layer permanently bonds with the surface through a chemical reaction, creating an excellent beading effect (lotus effect). Thanks to its easy-to-clean properties, the treated surface can be gently and easily cleaned, even by hand washing. The protective layer remains intact even after the use of acidic and alkaline cleaners. The hardened ceramic seal protects the rim's paint significantly longer from environmental influences such as salt and brake dust adhesion and facilitates cleaning and maintenance. Depending on use, the durability is up to 12 months. Ceramic Rims Cr0.01 can be double-coated. Please observe washing and care instructions.

Areas of application: Rims on cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, motorhomes, caravans, etc.

Application: 1. Thoroughly clean the rim before sealing (e.g., with Magic Wheel Cleaner), remove coarse dirt with suitable accessories (e.g., Detail Wheel Brush). 2. Wipe all surfaces to be sealed with a Polish & Sealing Towel and Panel Preparation Spray or Silicone & Wax Remover and dry with another clean Polish & Sealing Towel to completely remove surfactants and drying aids and avoid adhesion problems (dilute Silicone & Wax Remover 1:4 with water to avoid dulling). 3. Do not touch the paint with bare hands afterwards – use gloves. 4. To apply, fully wet the Application Pen with Ceramic Rims Cr0.01 and spread the sealant evenly until a thin, closed liquid film is visible. Allow the product to flash off and then polish with the Coating Towel. Optimal conditions: 15-25 °C at 40-50% humidity; consumption depending on rim size approx. 5-7 ml per rim. Notes: Ceramic Rims Cr0.01 reacts with humidity – wipe off crystals on the bottle rim before use. For double coating, allow approx. 30 minutes drying time. The coating is weather-resistant after at least 24 hours; first car wash after at least nine days. To protect the fresh seal, application of Spray Sealant S0.02 or Hand Wax W0.01 is recommended after 24 hours. Avoid cleaning agents with pH values below 3 or above 12. An opened bottle has a maximum shelf life of 6 months. For care, hand wash with Green Star (1:10) or Gentle Snow Foam; remove mineral dirt with Magic Wheel Cleaner or Reactivation Shampoo. As aftercare, Hydro Foam Sealant (1:50–1:200) or Spray Sealant S0.02 or Hand Wax W0.01 as a topper.
