Koch Chemie Ceramic Body Cb0.01

Ceramic Body Cb0.01 is a ceramic coating applied to painted vehicle body surfaces for long-lasting protection. The very thin protective layer permanently bonds with the surface through a chemical reaction. Ceramic Body Cb0.01 provides excellent water repellency (lotus effect). Thanks to its easy-to-clean properties, the treated surface can be gently and easily cleaned, even with hand washing. The protective layer remains intact even after using acidic and alkaline cleaners. The cured ceramic sealant protects the paint significantly longer from environmental influences such as oxidation, salt, acids, and insects. Ceramic Body Cb0.01 thus contributes significantly to maintaining or increasing the value of the vehicle. The durability is up to 36 months, depending on wear and tear. Ceramic Body Cb0.01 can be double-coated. Please observe washing and care instructions.

Areas of application: Painted exterior surfaces of cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, motorhomes, caravans, boats, etc.

Application: 1. Before the polishing and sealing process, thoroughly pre-clean or wash the vehicle with an alkaline cleaner (e.g., with Green Star 1:10, no sealing shampoos); pre-treat coarse contamination with cleaning clay or tar remover. 2. Prepare the paintwork mechanically with Heavy Cut or Fine Cut, depending on the condition, then remove holograms with Micro Cut using an eccentric polisher. 3. Completely remove polishing residues with a Polish and Sealing Towel. 4. Wipe all surfaces with Silicone & Wax Remover or Panel Preparation Spray and immediately wipe dry to completely remove surfactants and oils and avoid adhesion problems (for sensitive solid/single-coat paints, dilute Silicone & Wax Remover 1:4 with water). After that, do not touch the paint with bare hands – use gloves. 5. Moisten the Application Sponge with Ceramic Body Cb0.01 and quickly spread it section by section over the paintwork; after two cross-passes, a thin, closed liquid film must be visible. Allow the product to flash off (flash-off time depends on temperature and humidity, e.g., 20 °C / 43 % approx. 6 minutes) and then polish with the Coating Towel: first remove excess, then polish off with a fresh cloth side without pressure and check for streak-free finish under suitable lighting. Consumption per vehicle size approx. 15-30 ml. Notes: Ceramic Body Cb0.01 reacts with humidity – wipe off crystals on the bottle rim before use. For double coating, allow approx. 30 minutes drying time between layers. The coating is weather-resistant after at least 24 hours; first vehicle wash no earlier than after nine days. To protect the fresh sealant, application of Spray Sealant S0.02 or Hand Wax W0.01 is recommended after 24 hours. Avoid cleaning agents with pH values below 3 or above 12. An opened bottle has a maximum shelf life of 6 months. For care, hand wash with Green Star (1:10), Gentle Snow Foam, or deep cleaning with Reactivation Shampoo; as aftercare, Hydro Foam Sealant (1:50–1:200) or Spray Sealant S0.02 as a topper.
