While the carbon-ceramic discs found in production cars conventionally use discontinuous (chopped) carbon fibers, ST interweaves continuous carbon fibers to form a multi-directional 3D matrix, creating a stronger and more durable product with three times the thermal conductivity of standard production components, this keeps the brake system temperature low and braking performance consistent.
