Brake pad wear sensor. The Porsche brake pad wear sensor is an electrical monitoring component that warns the driver when the brake pad material has reached its wear limit. Integrated directly into the brake pad, the sensor triggers a warning on the dashboard as soon as the circuit is interrupted.
