Outer Cable / Guide for Heater Flap Cable – Porsche 911 & 912 (1965–1986)

Guide tube (outer sleeve) for the heater flap cable. Ensures smooth guiding of the heater Bowden cable in Porsche 911, 912, and 930 models.

This outer cable serves as a guide for the actual heater flap cable (wire) that connects the heater levers in the interior to the flaps on the heat exchangers.

Stiff heater levers are often not due to the wire itself, but rather to a damaged, rusty, or clogged outer cable caused by old grease. Replacing this guide sleeve is essential to restore the smooth operation of the heating control and allow for precise warm air dosage.
