Requires an upgrade of the factory 68mm throttle body to a 74mm throttle body incl. The 986 Boxster marked Porsche's return to a purpose-built 2-seater roadster since the famous 550 Spyder. This liberating open-cockpit platform was crucial in saving Porsche from financial uncertainty and was Porsche's best-selling model from 1997 to 2003 until the Cayenne was added to the Porsche product range.
