Koch Chemie Allround Textile Sealant

Allround Textile Sealant protects textiles of all kinds against water, dirt and staining without impairing feel and appearance. The water-based premium textile sealant is free of solvents and fluorocarbon resins. Allround Textile Sealant, with its pleasant fresh scent, is therefore suitable for textiles indoors and outdoors. The sealing components provide an easy-to-clean effect and a long service life. Depending on the textile fibre, intended use, stress and care, the durability is up to 24 months (comparable to up to 50 wash cycles at 30 degrees).

Areas of application

Textiles of all kinds indoors and outdoors, such as soft tops, seat covers, upholstery etc.

Application

• Thoroughly clean the textile to be sealed beforehand with Pol Star or multi-purpose cleaner and leave to dry completely.
• For the further steps, the textile must be dry, clean and free of product residues.
• Mask off areas that are not to be sealed with the Masking Tape accordingly.
• Never spray Allround Textile Sealant directly onto the surface.
• Apply Allround Textile Sealant evenly to the surface with a microfibre sponge so that a thin, even wet film forms.
• Work the product thoroughly into the fibres cross-wise with a suitable sponge and then leave to dry completely.
• An application temperature between 10 °C and 40 °C is recommended.
• Depending on the textile and ambient temperature, complete drying and full effect are reached after up to 24 hours.
• After applying Allround Textile Sealant, clean the sealed surfaces only gently.
• Note: If the effect diminishes, it can be refreshed by applying it again, provided the textile is not heavily soiled.

Notes

• Shake before use.
• Protect from frost and excessive heat.
• Test for suitability and compatibility before use.
• Do not apply to surfaces where slipperiness is undesirable.
• Do not apply to displays or polycarbonate.
