Description

The M22 × 1.5 wheel nut securely fastens the wheel hub to the axle shaft and is a safety-relevant wear part. Depending on the model, it is used on the front or rear axle. Due to the high stress it endures – especially with sporty driving or high-performance models – the wheel nut is generally used as a single item and should be replaced when wheel bearings or axle work is carried out.

This design ensures stable preload on the hub connection and contributes to precise, vibration-free operation of the wheel system. The component position is shown in the parts diagram under diagram no. 2 .
