From 1969 to 1976 the Porsche 914 was the first mid-engined production Porsche – as the 914/4 with a four-cylinder engine and as the 914/6 with the six-cylinder boxer from the 911. Typical problem areas are the longitudinal members, the battery tray and the Targa roof seals.
